Exciting end of the holiday at the seasonal race of the FIA Truck Racing 2013 - the fight for the European title in a race truck! Race on the Czech track in the Most city!
Together, with a group of the major customers of Castrol, we travelled to the Czech Republic to the Most city, to cheer the Castrol Team.
The driver of the Castrol Team, as usual, was a 39-year-old Jochen Hahn - two-time European champion in the race truck (2011 and 2012) and leader of the 2013 season. Besides Jochen, in the Team, there are also other members of Hahn family - Konrad, Diana, Marlene and Lukas - ensuring a truly family atmosphere in Castrol Team.
Hahn races in MAN TGS 18.480.
This truck weighs 5500 kg, is powered by six-cylinder, inline engine with power of 1100 HP. As usually, Jochen starts with number one (defending the title), and does not intend to give it to anyone!
In the Czech stage, Jochen confirmed that he is in great shape, the team has always worked well as a green-and-white truck car was reliable. Castrol Team course after two races remained in the lead in the overall standings at the ending of the season.
The rivalry in this type of competition is a great test for lubricants, provided to the team Hahn Racing team by Castrol. Of course, in each test each Castrol gets the highest grade!
This competition is also a great opportunity to meet the automotive industry, exchange of experience and ideas, check the competitors.
